August 1-7 (Fri-Thu) Full week! WALL* E
The latest Pixar animated film will enchant folks
of all ages. It’s about a cute little robot on a trashed and abandoned Earth
who accidentally discovers a way for humans to return, and passes on the
message to a robot space probe named EVE. Smitten, he follows her back to the
human mothership, and discovers a deeper
mystery. While still funny, WALL*E is a little deeper and quieter than Pixar’s previous films, with incredible artwork.

August 12, 13 & 14 (TWTh) Good Food
This delightful documentary on Northwest small farmers by Mark Dworkin (loyal Clyde projectionist for 35 years) and Melissa Young sold out both of its performances at

people and issues involved. After the Thursday showing a few popular local
growers will briefly share stories about the ups and downs of farming on
Whidbey. As part of Locavore Week several South End
restaurants are offering locally-sourced specials, so consider dinner out
before the movie, or invite friends over and cook something great from
ingredients bought at one of our farmers’ markets. If your interest in eating
